There is still time to submit a film to the 2017 Soo Film Festival. The regular deadline is June 23 and requires a $10 entry fee. Late entries must be submitted by July 7 with an entry fee of $15. The selected films will be announced the first week of August.
The festival has issued a call for all genres and nonfiction in feature and shorts categories. Entry is online exclusively through FilmFreeway. Filmmakers will find complete details on the Submit a Film section of the festival’s website at soofilmfestival.org.

Soo Film Festival 2017 is open to filmmakers worldwide but will continue to emphasize and showcase work from the Great Lakes region.
The fourth installment of the Soo Film Festival is set for September 15-17, 2017. The festival is once again headquartered in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, at the historic Soo Theatre.
