Soo Film Festival Announces 2018 Line-Up

5 Years of Great Lakes and Great Movies!

Soo Film Festival announces its line-up of narrative and documentary features and shorts, music videos, and animation for 2018. The festival places an emphasis on Great Lakes films and filmmakers, but entry was open worldwide. Festival programming will feature international submissions from nineteen countries. Soo Film Festival is September 12-16 in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan at the historic Soo Theatre and at Bayliss Public Library, a Superior District Library. Featured selections will screen at the library September 12 and 13.

Festival president Jason Markstrom: “We are very excited to be celebrating our fifth anniversary in downtown Sault Ste. Marie this year, and looking forward to seeing everyone and showing them the talent the Great Lakes has to offer.”

Tickets will be on sale Saturday, September 1. Complete ticket information will be online at soofilmfestival.org. Ticket prices are $7 General Admission (per block), $5 Seniors and Students (per block); $20 Daily Pass (admission to all blocks on a single day); $50 Festival Pass (admission to all films and shorts programs, all days). Films screened at Bayliss Library are free of charge.
